DESCRIPTION:A teacher\, a sister\, a wife and a friend.  Genevieve selflessly devoted her life to others\, ensuring their success and happiness.  Through encouragement from her family\, she began to paint in her spare time and eventually gained confidence with the brush.  Her representational still lifes reveal considerable artistic talent and the Guild is honored to highlight her and her work for this exhibition.

Experiencing China’s Qingdao Watercolor Art Season 
DESCRIPTION:Guild artist\, Jerry Smith and his wife\, Cindy will give a presentation about their recent experiences in China participating in the Qingdao Watercolor Art Season 2023\, which is an annual event held to promote communication and cooperation between Chinese artists and artists from other countries. The international team for this year included watercolor artists from Australia\, Moldova\, Brazil\, Russia\, and the United States. The event included exhibitions\, working with Chinese children and adult artists\, demonstrations\, plein air painting and ceremonies/dinners with Chinese officials and artists. Jerry and Cindy are happy to share their observations and experiences encountered during their four-week adventure. \nGuild gallery\n1 – 3 pm \nFree to the public – Donations accepted
