Restorative Yoga & Reiki Energy Healing  
DESCRIPTION:The class will enjoy relaxing Restorative Yoga accompanied with a loving Reiki Energy Healing surrounded by the serene paintings of Brown County Art Guild artist members.  Katie will walk through restful & restorative yoga poses while giving Reiki Healing to each person individually. The time together will leave one feeling rested & more in touch with his or her loving soul. \nKatie will allow the breath to lead attendees into a more relaxed state while supported by Yoga props allowing the body to fully disengage & relax. These sessions are very helpful for many things including insomnia\, restlessness\, grief\, extra stress in life\, seeking meditative relief\, healing\, and many mental physical & emotional needs. This will be a deeply therapeutic & healing class. Essential oils & oracle cards will be used during this class. All skill levels welcome. \nPlease bring a mat\, water\, blanket or whatever is needed for a relaxing experience. The class is typically a floor activity\, but chairs can be provided. \nGuild gallery\nDecember 10 \n5-6:30 pm\nSuggested $20 donation per class \nAbout Katie:\nKatie Arnold is a native of Bloomington\, Indiana\, where she currently resides.  She created Rise & Peace Healing to offer an empowered\, compassionate & loving space for healing & well-being. Experiencing China’s Qingdao Watercolor Art Season 
DESCRIPTION:Guild artist\, Jerry Smith and his wife\, Cindy will give a presentation about their recent experiences in China participating in the Qingdao Watercolor Art Season 2023\, which is an annual event held to promote communication and cooperation between Chinese artists and artists from other countries. The international team for this year included watercolor artists from Australia\, Moldova\, Brazil\, Russia\, and the United States. The event included exhibitions\, working with Chinese children and adult artists\, demonstrations\, plein air painting and ceremonies/dinners with Chinese officials and artists. DESCRIPTION:A teacher\, a sister\, a wife and a friend.  Genevieve selflessly devoted her life to others\, ensuring their success and happiness.  Through encouragement from her family\, she began to paint in her spare time and eventually gained confidence with the brush.  Her representational still lifes reveal considerable artistic talent and the Guild is honored to highlight her and her work for this exhibition.

DESCRIPTION:July 23\, 2023\n4 – 5 pm\nOpen to the public\nDonations accepted  \nThe second concert of the year will feature pianists Hyeseon Jin and Mira Walker.  They will play arrangements by five composers\, representing a range of time periods and musical styles.  \nListening to Marie Goth’s Steinway piano being expertly played in the Guild’s gallery is a worthy experience.  The Guild is honored to offer these free concerts in partnership with the Nashville Arts and Entertainment Commission.
