Wayne Waldron  was born in the south-central Indiana village of Oolitic, near the Historic Brown County Art Colony. He was an internationally recognized award-winning artist whose work was juried by many of America’s leading museum and art institutions. In the 1990’s, he became equally proficient in the small and miniature format earning many awards from North America and Great Britain.  He began in watercolor and enjoyed oil, acrylic and pencil later in his career. He demonstrated an ability to paint a variety of subject matter: landscape, still life, floral, birds, and wildlife. “A prize find,” was the way his full range and body of work was described in a Chicago Tribune article.
